Matthews Makes O’Beirne’s Head Spin

The NRO wankers want Scooter free so it’s no surprise to hear Kate O’Beirne say that she thinks everyone that is guilty of a crime by a jury, but says they are innocent should be pardoned

I just heard a juror on Hardball say that Libby is a very nice guy who just got caught in a lie and it snowballed and that she hopes he gets a pardon, preferably soon. She agrees that the case was trivial and wishes she had been on a jury for the real crime.

Kate O’Beirne agrees, naturally. She is also sitting right next to the juror saying that Libby didn’t lie and wasn’t really guilty. The juror says nothing. How much do people want to bet that this woman is going to end up being the poster girl for the Free Scooter campaign?

But it’s what happened next that really got my attention. I’m not a big fan of Tweety, as far as I’m concerned he’s a tool. But he really seemed to get indignant and confrontational about O’Beirne’s idiotic assertions. She’s sitting there saying that Clinton should have been impeached and removed from office, but that Libby should be pardoned because the whole prosecution was a far-left plot. He seemed genuinely angry at the nonsense that O’Bierne was spouting. By the end of it ‘Ole 60 Grit looks cross-eyed, and the juror is just sitting there, stunned.

I get the feeling that Matthews is angry about this case and that he resents having been used by the Bushies. And having said that I have to add that until he turned on ‘Ole 60 Grit, the whole show seemed to be a cheerleading session for a pardon, and it’s obvious to me that he’s beating the pardon drum now to keep the story going.
